Pecunpay is an entity authorized and regulated by the Bank of Spain as an electronic money institution (with registration number 6707) for the issuance of electronic money and payment services, licensed to operate throughout Europe.
Pecunpay is a Spanish company that is part of Minsait Payments Systems S.L., which in turn belongs to the Indra Sistemas Group.
At Pecunpay we have deployed an Information Security Management System, with the firm purpose of ensuring that information security risks are known, assumed, managed and minimized by Pecunpay in a documented, systematic, structured, repeatable, efficient manner, adapted to changes in risks, the environment and technologies.
Pecunpay is an Electronic Money Entity regulated by the Bank of Spain with CSB code 6707. It has been registered in the Special Registry of Electronic Money Entities, after verification that it met the requirements established in Royal Decree-Law 19/2018, of November 23, on payment services and other urgent financial measures, in accordance with the fourth provision of said Royal Decree.
In accordance with Article 9.1 of Law 21/2011, of July 26, on electronic money, Pecunpay has adopted measures for the protection of funds received in exchange for electronic money issued and funds from the provision of payment services.
Likewise, in compliance with Article 9 of Order ECO/734/2004, Pecunpay has established the required procedures to guarantee the transparency of financial operations and the protection of financial services customers.
Pecunpay applies, in compliance with AML/CFT legislation, due diligence policies and measures, information, document preservation, internal control, risk assessment and management, compliance with current regulations and communication, to prevent and impede operations related to money laundering or terrorist financing.
